Was anyone else disappointed by The Lovely Bones ending?

I thought he got what he deserved any way, and didn't he cut up her body so they wouldn't find it? I read the book ages ago so might be remembering wrong. I did like at the end that the family moved on and were happy though, and that Susie saw them happy.
