What are Obama's chances, given that aside from two fluke elections, we don't elect Democrats to president?

Obama has no chance. You are right in that Democrats never win elections, Republicans lose them. The truth is most people aren't Democrats and don't like them. Unfortunately Democrats have control of the media and the universities and are very vocal in making it appear that Democrats matter in this world more than they actually do!
