What food should I eat in school?

I'm currently in this whole low-calorie diet, and sticking to what my doctor says and eating up to 950 calories a day according to my age, weight and gender. I'm fourteen, by the way. I'm on track with the food that I eat at home, but when it comes to school food, I go crazy, mostly because before recess/lunch break, we spend hours in cl sitting down and taking notes, doing nothing else but that. Some of the food in my school are also pretty unhealthy. And I'm not sure which is the best that I should take, or if I should just pack my own lunch there (its kinda embarring though). The food in my school should be about the same as those in other schools - snack stall, noodle stall etc etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! (:
